Spring is stirring beneath the frost, and it’s time to gather with the herbs once more. As the light begins to return and the heart opens to brighter days, hibiscus feels like the perfect plant ally to guide us into a new season.
Together, we’ll explore this bold, tangy, deeply coloured, and oh-so-tasty herb, always a favourite in class. Rich in antioxidants and loved for its vibrant flavour, hibiscus has been used across cultures to cool the body, support circulation, and awaken the senses. In folk traditions, it’s often associated with the heart, joy, beauty, and sensuality—a plant that stirs both emotion and inspiration.
Long treasured in tea rituals, herbal blends, and seasonal celebrations, hibiscus speaks to that sweet space between nourishment and play, grounding and uplift. It reminds us that herbalism can be both deeply practical and deliciously enchanting.
In that spirit, our Hibiscus Herbal Circle is an afternoon of community, craft, and vibrant herbal learning. Together, we’ll stir, blend, and shape herbal creations that celebrate hibiscus and the early shift from winter into spring—a time to gently awaken, reconnect, and nourish the senses.
🌿 Here’s what we’ll be crafting together:

🍫 Cocoa Circle Dip: A lush, wholesome cocoa-based dip inspired by the bold, tangy flavour of hibiscus—perfect for apple slices, oat crackers, or quiet moments with tea.
🍊 Hibiscus-Rosehip Electuary: A tart-sweet, spoonable herbal remedy combining powdered hibiscus, rosehips, and orange peel with honey. Deliciously old-world and beautifully simple.
🥥 Hibiscus Nut Butter Bites: Bite-sized herbal treats made with nut butter, seeds, and powdered hibiscus—soft, nourishing, and perfect for mid-circle snacking or tucking into lunchboxes.
🌹 Hibiscus & Rose Syrup: A fragrant, floral syrup made with dried hibiscus and rose petals. Beautiful drizzled over desserts, swirled into sparkling water, or added to tea for a heart-opening twist.
