A hands-on, seasonal journey into the heart of herbal wisdom.
Step into the green world around you and rediscover the gifts of the land. Join us for a nourishing Herbal Circle Series — a guided, hands-on exploration of foraging, wildcrafting, and seasonal herbal medicine. Over four cosy Tuesday evening, including one immersive walk in nature, we’ll gather as a community to learn, share, and connect with the plants that grow all around us.
Each session is designed to awaken your senses, deepen your relationship with the natural world, and offer practical skills you can bring into your daily life.
What You’ll Experience:
🌿 Deepen Your Plant Connection
Start seeing the “weeds” in your garden, along trails, or in the forest edge in a whole new light. We’ll explore the rich stories, traditional uses, and energetic qualities of local plants that support wellness and nourishment.
🌱 Guided Plant Identification Walk
Learn how to confidently recognise medicinal and edible plants in their natural habitat. You’ll begin to read the land like a living map, noticing subtle details like leaf shape, growth patterns, and habitat clues.
🍂 Seasonal Harvest Wisdom
Explore the cycles of the seasons and how they influence when to harvest different plant parts—roots, leaves, flowers, and seeds. Learn how to work in harmony with nature’s timing to gather plants at their peak potency.
🛠 Ethical Wildcrafting Practices
Foraging is about relationship, not extraction. We’ll cover the ethics of wild harvesting, including respectful gathering techniques, reciprocity, and how to support the regeneration of plant communities.
🥗 Crafting Nourishment & Herbal Remedies
Each session includes hands-on herbal crafting, where you’ll learn how to turn wild plants into delicious, practical creations. Expect to make and take home:
- Wild food dishes – Simple, flavourful meals using local foraged ingredients
- Herbal teas & infusions – Calming and restorative seasonal blends
- Tinctures & vinegars – Long-lasting herbal preparations for your home apothecary
- Salves & balms – Plant-powered skincare to soothe and protect
- Syrups & oxymels – Sweet, tangy, and wellness-supporting tonics
🤝 Community & Connection
We’ll gather in circle to share experiences, ask questions, and hold space for learning together. Whether you’re coming with a friend or meeting kindred spirits for the first time, you’ll leave feeling more rooted—in yourself, in community, and in the land.
