April 2026 Herbal Circle - Calendula

Spring is beginning to unfold, and with it comes the golden glow of calendula—a plant that feels like bottled sunshine. As the days grow longer and warmth slowly returns, calendula invites us to soften, nourish, and reconnect with the simple joys of the season

Together, we’ll explore this bright, gentle, and versatile herb. Known for its vibrant petals and long history in herbal traditions, calendula has been cherished as a skin-loving plant and a beautiful addition to foods and preparations alike. It’s often associated with warmth, comfort, and protection—bringing a sense of ease to both body and spirit.

Long used in oils, balms, teas, and kitchens, calendula reminds us that herbalism can be both practical and playful. Its golden colour alone feels like a mood-lifter, offering a little brightness as we step more fully into spring.

In that spirit, our Calendula Herbal Circle is an afternoon of community, creativity, and hands-on herbal learning. Together, we’ll stir, infuse, and craft a collection of herbal goodies that celebrate this sunny plant and the shift into a softer, brighter season.

🌼 Calendula Lemon Poppyseed Sun Bites (No-Bake): Soft, citrusy “sun bites” with a hint of lemon and a sprinkle of calendula petals—bright, nourishing, and just a little bit playful.

🍊 Sunshine Bitters: A vibrant, flavourful bitters blend to awaken the palate and add a little golden spark to your daily rituals.

🌿 Calendula Infused Oil: A foundational herbal oil, perfect for skin care and a beautiful way to work with calendula at home.

🧴 Calendula Body Butter: A rich, nourishing blend to soften and hydrate the skin, infused with the gentle qualities of calendula.

🛁 Calendula Bath Salts: A soothing, mineral-rich soak with calendula petals—perfect for unwinding and restoring at the end of the day.

Location: Centennial Park Field House. Central Saanich 7526 Wallace Drive.

Cost

$80 – includes a digital booklet with all recipes + information

$95 - includes a colour print out of the herbal booklet

Both include all ingredients, materials, your handmade creations, and a guided, heart-centred workshop experience.
