Welcome to Herbal Wisdom: Nurturing Wellness through Plant Medicine

Email Subscription Course

Get ready to embark on an extraordinary journey of knowledge, discovery, and empowerment as we unveil the secrets of herbal medicine

The course curriculum is carefully crafted to cover a wide range of herbs, including both common and lesser-known ones, to provide you with a diverse and well-rounded education in herbal medicine.

You'll gain insights into the ecological and sustainability aspects of herbalism, understanding the importance of ethical harvesting and cultivation practices. Many of the herbs we will learn about can be found in your own backyard. We will link the growing season for the herb with the lesson. If you don't live in an area where the particular herb can be found, we will provide links and resources to where you can purchase that herb.

Our wish is that you can really connect with each plant in a deeply personal way. Our goal is for you to truly connect with the herbs and deeply understand their various uses in your life.

Practical knowledge

Our course is delivered in an engaging and accessible email format.
Weekly projects will allow you to dive deep into the study of each herb. You'll learn about the history, traditional uses, modern applications, and safety considerations of each herb, along with practical skills such as herbal preparations, formulation, and identification.

Get Your hands dirty!

As you progress through the course, you'll be encouraged to apply your knowledge through hands-on projects, including creating your own herbal remedies, teas, tinctures, oils and salves.
There will be practical recipes for adding these herbs into everyday meal planning, from cookies to dinners. Wild foods play an important role in this program. Learning to forage for, and prepare, wild foods, is important and practical way of connecting with the plants. In some of the lessons, you will be asked to do a craft, or sit back with a cup of tea and read a detailed description of the herb we are studying in the lesson. Each week you will be sent the week's lessons and a shopping list of supplies and food that will be needed to complete the project.

Betty is an absolute sweetheart and I loved taking her 10 month Herbal Apprenticeship! I learned so much about how to work with herbs and how to create so many magical formulations. I loved that we had a large hands on component to the classes and I feel so much more empowered in how to incorporate herbs into my life, to head and to add nutrition.
